Tracks itself

Country lookup runs against an offline map on your iPhone. Raven stores which country you were in each day, not a GPS trail, and we operate no server that ever sees it.
Your private iCloud
Sync and backup use your own iCloud account through CloudKit. Only your Apple devices can read it. Turn it off and everything stays local.
No account
No sign-up, no email, no password. Purchases go through Apple. Delete the app and its iCloud data and your record is gone; nothing lingers with us.

Why now
The EU stopped stamping passports
The Entry/Exit System has been fully operational since 10 April 2026. Border computers now know your Schengen days to the day; your passport no longer shows them. Count yours.
Google Timeline deleted years of history
Timeline moved on-device with a 3-month auto-delete default and a March 2025 bug wiped data for many users. Raven rebuilds your record from photos and imports whatever Timeline you still have.

Is there a free version?
Yes. The free tier is fully usable: automatic tracking, your last 12 months of history, one rule tracker (for example Schengen 90/180 or one 183-day rule), Photos import, five evidence attachments and widgets. Premium unlocks unlimited history, unlimited rules, PDF and CSV export, Google Timeline and calendar imports, unlimited evidence, iCloud sync and the what-if planner.
How does automatic tracking work, and will it drain my battery?
Raven uses iOS significant-location changes and visit monitoring, not continuous GPS, and resolves the country on-device from an offline map. It records which country you were in each day, not your movements. You can also run it fully manual, or start with When-In-Use permission and upgrade to Always later.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone, and in your private iCloud database if you turn on sync. We operate no server that receives your location, trips or evidence. Deleting the app (and its iCloud data in Settings) deletes everything.
Can I rebuild past travel history?
Yes. Import dates and geotags from your Photos library, import a Google Maps Timeline JSON export, or add trips by hand. Each trip carries a confidence flag (detected, confirmed or manual) so you know what you have verified.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Cancel anytime in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
